On behalf of the Proprietor, the Catholic Integrated Schools Office Property Manager worked with the Board of John Paul College for the successful transformation of what was the previous Mary MacKillop College facilities and Boarding Hostel into a new Performing Arts Centre.
John Paul College has a strong history of delivering the Performing Arts Curriculum in the areas of Drama, Dance and Music.
The project was initiated as a discretionary project that relied on a significant amount of community raised funding. To allow the project to be completed earlier the CDF via the Schools Office was able to make a loan advance ($1m) towards the successful completion of the project.
Construction for the project occurred in 2019 and 2020 with a formal opening of the redeveloped building on the 16 December 2020. This advance has since been fully repaid.
